Jonathan Yates is an award-winning standup comic and comedy writer.
His comedy focuses on clean, topical and original humor. He has participated in the World Series of Comedy and the Pub and Grub Comedy Tour. More than ten of his comedy scripts have been honored at major events, including best script. He has hosted and produced two sold out comedy fundraising events for a hospital and an animal rights organization.
As a writer, he has been published in Newsweek, The Washington Post and Foreign Policy, among many other venues. His degrees are from Harvard, Johns Hopkins and Georgetown University Law Center; with additional matriculation at the United States War College, The Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and the George Washington School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA). While working on Capitol Hill, his clearance status was Top Secret in accordance with his duties
